Dear BOMA/NY Members,

With the new year in full swing, all of us at BOMA/NY would like to thank you for your membership. Looking back at 2016, the Board of Directors and I are extremely proud of all our organizations hard work and dedication, which has been continuing into 2017. This year marks BOMA/NY’s 50th Anniversary and we are very excited to see what the rest of 2017 has in store for us.

Our first seminar of the year, "2017 Funding for Development and Implementation of your Energy-Related Projects," with Con Edison and NYSERDA on Thursday, January 12, 2017, was an astounding success. We want to thank everyone who joined us at this event, and especially our speakers David R. Pospisil, Manager of Commercial and Industrial Energy Solutions at Con Edison and Simonne Li, Project Manager at New York State Energy Research & Development Authority.

If you missed our January seminar, we hope that you can join us at our BOMA/NY Lunch & Learn on Thursday, February 16, 2017. Mike Thompson, Global Leader Refrigerant Strategy, Ingersoll Rand will be presenting the latest state of refrigerants in our BOMA/NY Conference Room at 11 Penn Plaza from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. Registration is required to attend.

With February approaching, BOMA/NY would like to remind you to register for the 2017 Pinnacle Awards Ceremony on Thursday, February 23, 2017. New York City Real Estate’s biggest night of the year will be held at Chelsea Piers from 5:30 PM to 10 PM.

Also of note is the BOMA/NY relocation One Penn Plaza which is still underway for April 2017!

Again, I would like to thank all our members, sponsors, staff and volunteers of BOMA/NY for your continued support in the new year. Because of you, we are able to promote the New York City real estate industry by providing educational services and resources.

BOMA/NY wishes all members and their families a Happy New Year. We are excited to share another year of growing and learning with you.

Sincerely,
James R. Kleeman, RPA
President of BOMA/NY
