Print Print this Article | Send to Colleague

Whether you're excited by technology or overwhelmed by it, the fact of the matter is that apps, email, social media, and other tools are necessary for communicating with varied stakeholder groups. What's key is learning how to cut through clutter and use specific platforms effectively with your target audiences.

All of these topics will be discussed by expert speakers at the upcoming seminar, Connect the Dots: Bringing Building Staff and Tenants Together through Technology. Organized and sponsored by BOMA/NY's Professional Development Committee, the seminar will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 15 from 8-10:30 a.m. at Club 101 at 101 Park Avenue. You'll receive one CPD credit per hour for attending.

Speakers include:

Sandra Berman, Berman Group: Sandra will cover social media and smartphone and tablet apps. She will also discuss building apps to facilitate marketing and communications and new technology being developed for the real estate industry.

Sandy Jacolow/CIO, Silverstein Properties: Sandy will share how mobility is changing the way we work, and will talk about technology gain the field and how it facilitates connecting with tenants.

Zac Wolf of Workspeed: Zac will discuss why managers benefit from an online tenant portal, electronic work request submissions, Workspeed, and mobile apps.

You will be receiving your e-invite soon. If you'd like to go ahead and register, you can contact BOMA/NY's Director of Education, Mary Sorgente, at mary@bomany.com or at 212-239-3662.
