AIC Francis R. Dugan Scholarship Nominations

Do you know a construction student deserving of a scholarship? Help them by sharing this information about the AIC's Francis R. Dugan Scholarship, presented by the AIC Educational Foundation. The Francis Dugan Scholarship was created by the American Institute of Constructors (AIC) Education Foundation to award financial scholarships to students in Accredited Construction Management related Associate and Baccalaureate Degree Programs.

The Dugan Scholarship is named for longtime AIC Member and AIC Education Foundation Founder Francis R. Dugan, CPC, FAIC. Fran passed away on December 26, 2014. Mr. Dugan was a member of the AIC for over 45 years, a Past National President, and CPC #93. Each year one $2,000 scholarship will be awarded.

Eligibility

  1. Must be a full-time student within an accredited Construction Management or Construction Related Associate or Baccalaureate Program or a student entering an accredited program. Student within 12 months of college graduation are not eligible.
  2. Students must have achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.0 based on a 4.0 scale at the time of application.
  3. Incoming freshman are not eligible.
  4. Scholarships are not automatically renewed but may be applied for in consecutive years.
Application Process

Students who wish to apply for the Dugan Scholarship must comply with all requirements and application procedures.  Please click here to view the full scholarship procedures.

  1. Applicant must submit an official application during the Application Cycle, Between July 1, 2016 and February 28, 2017. The scholarship will be announced by March 31, 2017 and payable by check soon after.
  2. An official application will consist of the Dugan Scholarship Application and supporting documentation as listed on the application.

Applications must be submitted between July 1, 2016 and February 28, 2017 to be considered. The Application and supporting documentation must be submitted together.
