Contractor Safety Forum: Active Shooter Preparedness on March 3rd

All employees should know how to respond to an active shooter situation in the safest, most effective way possible. There is an average of one active shooter incident every three weeks in America. 69% of those incidents are over in five minutes or less. Having a plan in place can be the difference between life and death in active shooter scenarios.

Presenter: Steve Stetson is the manager of safety services at DSP Insurance Services. Steve has over 20 years of safety experience and has been an OSHA instructor since 1996. Some of his other concentrations include safety training, OSHA compliance, ergonomics, safe driver training, and jobsite evaluations. Stetson is a member and frequent speaker of Society of Casual Safety Engineers and has BSEET in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
