5th International Congress on Construction History -- We Are Sponsoring Friday's Night Event and You're Invited!

There is still time to register to attend this week's 5th International Congress on Construction History, being organized by the Construction History Society of America. The Builders Association is proudly sponsoring one of the event’s programs on the evening of June 5, 2015.  It starts at 5:00 pm with the program, "We Built Chicago,"  followed by a cocktail hour with open bar and appetizers. It will be held at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago Ballroom (112 S. Michigan Avenue).

Our own David Pepper from Pepper Construction will open our event, which also includes a presentation by Marvin Levine on 100 years of Construction in Chicago. A panel discussion moderated by Mary Brush of Brush Architects will discuss the longevity of certain construction companies and their stories. The panel will include Fred Berglund of Berglund Construction, Martin Ozinga IV of Ozinga Concrete, Bruce Lake of James McHugh Construction Company and Phil Stupp of Stupp Brothers, Inc.
