The BCEA Holiday Awards and Luncheon 2025, set for November 28, will welcome acclaimed journalist Ian Hanomansing as a keynote speaker, joining civic leader Daniel Fontaine. This year’s theme, “Leader and Legacy: Take the Stage,” celebrates individuals whose leadership has made a lasting impact—and Hanomansing’s presence promises to elevate the occasion.

Known for his decades-long career in Canadian journalism, Hanomansing brings a legacy of integrity, truth, and public service. His keynote will reflect on leadership through the lens of storytelling, inclusion, and civic responsibility, aligning perfectly with the event’s mission to honour transformative voices.

Hanomansing’s influence extends beyond the newsroom. As a champion of diverse perspectives and thoughtful dialogue, his message will inspire attendees to consider how leadership can be both bold and compassionate. His presence is expected to resonate especially with emerging leaders and changemakers.

Sharing the stage with Daniel Fontaine, the duo represents two pillars of Canadian public life—media and policy—offering a dynamic blend of insight and experience. Their combined perspectives will spark meaningful conversations about legacy, leadership, and the future of community engagement.

With anticipation building, the Holiday Awards and Luncheon 2025 promises to be a powerful celebration of visionaries who lead with purpose. Ian Hanomansing’s participation ensures the event will be both memorable and deeply inspiring.
