The British Columbia Electrical Association (BCEA) is set to host its Annual Awards and Holiday Luncheon on November 28, bringing together industry leaders for a celebration of achievement, connection, and forward-thinking dialogue. Among the featured speakers is Daniel Fontaine, a New Westminster City Councillor and current mayoral candidate, whose extensive background in public policy, communications, and non-profit leadership positions him as a compelling voice on civic innovation. Fontaine’s address is expected to explore the intersection of infrastructure, governance, and the evolving role of technology in shaping resilient communities.

With decades of experience—including his tenure as CEO of the BC Care Providers Association and co-founder of the New West Progressives—Fontaine offers a unique perspective on leadership and public engagement. His insights will complement the luncheon’s broader mission: to recognize excellence across British Columbia’s electrical sector while fostering meaningful connections among professionals. The event promises a blend of inspiration, recognition, and festive spirit as the industry wraps up another dynamic year.
Driving Connections at Crown Isle Tournament

Crown Isle Golf Resort was more than just a scenic venue on September 25—it became a hub for collaboration, camaraderie, and community spirit. Sponsored by Code Electric and Hallwood Milham Technologies, the tournament brought together players and partners in a shared celebration of sport and innovation. From tee-offs to the final putt, the event fostered meaningful connections both on the fairways and off, highlighting the power of partnership in motion. The sponsors’ presence underscored a commitment to energizing local engagement, making the day not just about golf, but about growing together.
