Mac’s II Agencies is pleased to announce the expansion of its lighting division with the addition of Jamie Capell as the Sales Manager for Lighting Specification. Jamie brings 25 years of experience in the lighting and electrical industry, most notably serving as the Director of Sales for a local lighting agency in British Columbia.

With an extensive network of industry relationships, Jamie has built strong, lasting connections with consultants throughout the Lower Mainland, particularly with architects and interior designers. His deep expertise in lighting solutions, specification, and project execution makes him a valuable addition to the Mac's II Agencies team.

Basic Electricity Course – Online
Registration for our online Basic Electricity Course is now live. This course is a great primer for anyone new to the industry or who wants a refresher on the more basic aspects of the supply chain industry. Ottawa to provide $156.8 million for eight BC Hydro projects

The federal government is providing nearly $157 million for eight electrical infrastructure projects across British Columbia.

In a recent news release, the federal government announced that the funding is being provided to Crown utility BC Hydro through the green stream of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program, to help with the province’s North Coast Electrification initiative.

BC Challenges Alberta's Electricity Export Restricitons
The government of British Columbia expressed concerns over restrictions that limit the export of electricity from Alberta to neighbouring provinces that was recently imposed by the Alberta government.
