May CR Update

The village of Noank is CT’s best little secret.  Executive Director, Justin D’Antonio and I had the privilege to spend some time in the Noank Fire District this month.  Russ and his operators, Ted and Frank were so accommodating in locating curb stops and valve boxes and making sure everything was ready for leak locating.

Groton has tagged a few streets in Noank for asphalt restoration.  Noank Fire District asked me to come down to the system to check for leaks on the selected streets.  I used the correlation and the ground mic together to get the best results. I was thrilled to help a small system plan for future work.
