TWO NEW STAFF MEMBERS IN GARRETT COUNTY

Mr. Richard Wesolowski, currently the Director of Transportation for the Charles County Public Schools, has accepted the position of Director of Transportation with Garrett County effective July 1, 2015. 

 

Mr. Wesolowski graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Bowie State University with a Master’s in Education.  For the Charles County Public Schools, he has served as a health/physical education teacher, an assistant principal, the Assistant in Transportation, and finally the Director of Transportation.  Originally from the Pittsburgh area, Mr. Wesolowski is married and has two (2) children, one (1) of whom is in high school.  He also has a sister who is a Garrett County resident.

 

Mrs. Alison Sweitzer, currently a staff accountant for First United Bank and Trust, has accepted the position of Staff Accountant with the Garrett County Public Schools effective mid-May 2015.

 

Mrs. Sweitzer is a Southern Garrett High School graduate and a 2002 cum laude graduate of Ohio University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (finance and marketing).  She also studied accounting at the University of Maryland and Frostburg State University.

 

Mrs. Sweitzer lives in the Oakland area with her husband and three (3) children.
