CERTIFIED ADMINISTRATOR OF SCHOOL FINANCE AND OPERATIONS® (SFO®)—The SFO program acknowledges school business officials for having the knowledge and skills needed to do their jobs effectively.

PINNACLE AWARDS—The Pinnacle Awards recognize school business officials for outstanding practices and new ideas that contribute to their school systems or to the profession of school business management.

BRIDGES TO THE FUTURE SCHOLARSHIPS—New school business officials with five years or less in the school business profession are afforded the opportunity, through a scholarship award, to attend the ASBO International Annual Meeting and Expo.

              Baltimore City Public Schools
 
NEW! Please note that Bridges to the Future applicants no longer need to be members of ASBO International or an ASBO affiliate member to apply.  This is a wonderful opportunity for new professionals to become involved early in their careers. 
 
MERITORIOUS BUDGET AWARD (MBA)—School systems are recognized for excellence in budget development and presentation. Based on the 2011/2012 budget, the following school districts received the MBA award:

Board of Education of Wicomico County*
Cecil County Public Schools*
 
*Denotes first-year applicant
 
CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE (COE)—The COE encourages excellence in school system Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports (CAFRs).  These school districts have been awarded the COE award based on their fiscal year ending 2011:
