GENESIS® is pleased to announce its new Design Faculty Advisor, Paul John Boulifard. Boulifard, who is an Architect and LEED AP, has been a GENESIS® instructor for over two years and has taught a wide range of design courses both virtually and in-person. As the Architecture Faculty Advisor, Boulifard will be part of the GENESIS® design advisory team and is responsible for strategic contribution, curriculum development, content quality assurance, and faculty recruitment.

Dec. 19 is the deadline to submit comments to the DOE regarding the recent Federal Register notification of data Availability (NODA) pertaining to energy conservation standards for miscellaneous gas products. Members might have interest in this rulemaking as it includes "outdoor decorative hearth products (which includes outdoor decorative fireplaces, fire pits, fire bowls, fire columns, and fire tables)..."
