Guest Speakers on the Summer Work Travel and H-2B Visa Programs

During of June 16 meeting of our Summer Work Travel and H-2B Coalition, our members heard advice and learned additional information about both programs from experts. Christine La Monica-Lunn, CEO and President at InterExchange, provided updates on the State Department’s processing of Summer Work Travel Visas for lifeguards in various countries. Arnulfo Hinojosa, Vice President, Federation of Employers and Workers of America, spoke about the requirements for hiring H-2B non-agricultural temporary seasonal workers and the program’s applicability to the pool and hot tub industry. The programs will help better inform our members as they continue to seek solutions to the current labor shortage.
