The RTO World Committee announced the cancellation of its in-person 2020 Annual Convention & Trade Show due to public health and safety concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, co-hosts APRO and TRIB Group will be working with scheduled speakers, sponsors and industry partners to deliver a virtual convention & trade show on September 8-11.

 

Registration information, schedules and industry partner opportunities for RTO World 2020 Virtual will be shared with the industry by the last week of June. As these and more details are finalized, the RTO World website will be updated to keep the public informed. The APRO Annual Awards Celebration & Business Meeting will be held in conjunction with RTO World on Thursday, September 10.

 

RTO World 2021 is now scheduled to take place August 21-25, 2021, in Tampa, Florida.

The deadline to apply to the APRO Charitable Foundation for fall scholarships for rent-to-own employees and their children is three days away.
 
For more than a decade, the APRO Charitable Foundation has annually provided scholarships to rent-to-own professionals and their families. APRO members contribute generously to the APRO Scholarship Fund – awarding 357 scholarships totaling $830,750 to date – to help RTO connected students pursue their college and trade school degrees.
 
Applications must be received by June 15, 2020, at 5 PM CT.

APRO is now accepting applications for the Emerging Leaders Council (ELC) 2020 - 2022 term. ELC members are volunteer leaders rising in the rent-to-own industry. ELC members help drive new initiatives while the industry continues to adapt and transform.
 
Ultimately, the ELC's commitment is to grow, develop and serve the voice of the RTO industry through the use of advocacy, education and relationships.
 
Once chosen, ELC members are placed into volunteer roles throughout the industry in APRO events, as moderators online, and as champions of new ideas.
 
Applications for the ELC are due by July 6, 2020.
