In April 2018, the APRO board of directors thoughtfully developed and debuted a three-year strategic plan for the voice of our industry—the association’s first such plan in 14 years.
More than halfway through its duration, the APRO Strategic Plan is being reviewed again by five workgroups, each made up of three or four directors, and each responsible for overcoming hurdles on key goals in a specified focus area. In late October, at the 18-month mark, the board convened in Austin for a regular meeting, as well as a strategic plan work session, to see where we are in terms of achieving our goals and how we might get there from here.
