The 2019 APRO Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C., wrapped yesterday afternoon. The annual conference hit its highest attendance this year since 2013 representing 23 states including 13 state association presidents and 30% first-time attendees. The 2019 APRO Legislative Conference dinner, held in the rotunda of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, concluded with surprise special guest Congressman Steve Stivers (R–Ohio, District 15) Wednesday evening in Washington, D.C. Stivers, a longtime supporter and friend of the industry, dropped in to commend the notable ongoing rent-to-own efforts at both a state and national level. "I appreciate the risks you take as entrepreneurs to drive the economy," shares Stivers. "Employing local communities and paying your taxes is what contributes to this country." The Dinner, sponsored by RentDirect Nationwide, was one of the highlights of this year's highly attended conference.

APRO associate member J.D. Byrider recently announced it has partnered with HomeNet Automotive to bring SnapLot 360 technology to its store operators to deliver a more transparent online customer experience through immersive vehicle imaging.
