Bad Shoes Not the Main Factor in Bunions

Think those fancy, too-small shoes with the pointy toes caused that bunion? Genetics probably paid a bigger role, says Scott E. Woodburn, a fellow of the of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, who practices in Maryland. That is just one of the misconceptions people have about bunions, Woodburn said.
