With advancements in technology and the introduction of more efficient software, a trend emerged: the number of notifications to members sent per individual locate request in Alberta steadily declined, from 4.74 notifications per request in 2015 to 3.41 in 2021. While a reduction of 1.33 notifications per request may seem modest, at scale the impact is significant.
