Contrary to the pile of snow on the ground, spring weather is just around the corner and our safety ambassadors are gearing up for another season of spreading knowledge and raising awareness about working safely near energy and utility lines.
Starting on April 3, you will see USP’s five safety ambassadors cruising around the Edmonton, Calgary, Grande Prairie and Central Alberta regions in their bright orange trucks. Each ambassador has extensive knowledge and expertise about utility safety in Alberta and is eager to share industry news and updates, support you when navigating the damage prevention process, answer your questions, and gather your feedback.
Throughout the busy construction season, the safety ambassadors engage with those directly or indirectly involved in ground disturbance by:
Reach out to the ambassador in your region if you would like to learn more about damage prevention and safety best practices in Alberta or invite them to attend a community event in your area.
