- Kassi Zaba, Manager - Stakeholder Relations, Utility Safety Partners

We are only a month into 2026, but we are well on our way in planning this year’s Safety Breakfasts. Each year, USP hosts free breakfast events around the province, where Albertans can enjoy a hot meal while they learn about working safely around underground and overhead facilities. At each breakfast, local facility owners and safety representatives share important information and updates with community members living or working in the region. Everyone is welcome to attend, learn, ask questions, and connect with others. We hope you can join us at a breakfast near you!

Lethbridge – February 26, 2026

USP’s Education & Awareness Committee is hosting the first breakfast of the year in conjunction with AgExpo. Join us at the Lethbridge Exhibition Grounds on February 26th and learn about working safely around utilities on your land. Enjoy safety presentations from the Canada Energy Regulator, Chief Mountain Gas Co-op, FortisAlberta, InterPipeline, and TC Energy. You may even win a door prize! All attendees are offered a free pass to AgExpo, so you can check out the Expo after the meal. RSVP to info@utilitysafety.ca and save your spot!
