U.S. Nonprofits and NGO Laws in China

Recently a draft law from the People's Republic of China garnered attention from the U.S. association world. The draft law seeks to regulate foreign business groups and their business in and with NGOs in China. On behalf of association executives and industry partners, ASAE responded to the proposed legislation to announce their concerns on the strict hurdles that nonprofits would have to jump through in order to operate in the country.
