On April 1, 2012, SMG opened for business, starting with a core team of 8 dedicated co-workers, all committed to providing the ultimate customer service experience to our clients. Today, the company has grown to now employ 17 individuals. SMG has carefully chosen each new team member with the goal to maintain a company culture of professionalism, mutual respect and helpfulness. As a team, we value the unique skill set each individual brings to the company, and take great pride in each other’s accomplishments. It is a joy to see our team members shine and grow as new opportunities present themselves.

Fortunately, there has been no shortage of exciting new opportunities. Since its launch, SMG has grown from serving 8 associations to managing the 14 clients which we serve today. We value our clients who have been with us from the beginning, as well as those who have chosen the SMG team to manage their association over the past three years. As SMG grows and evolves, we will never fail to recognize that our success is dependent on our partnerships with these incredible associations and their dedicated volunteer leaders and members. We thank each of you for your commitment, support and trust.

With the addition of 9 new employees and 6 new clients, SMG quickly outgrew its original office space located in Bel Air, Maryland. The search began for a suburban-Baltimore location which would better suit the company’s needs. Last December, SMG moved to its new home at 9 Newport Drive, Suite 200, in Forest Hill, Maryland. The new office has an extra-large conference room, ample parking, and most importantly, plenty of office/work spaces, with extra room for future growth. We are very excited to share SMG’s new headquarters, and invite you to come see it for yourself – we would love to give you a tour.

Fred Stringfellow, CAE, Owner and President of Stringfellow Management Group, started SMG with the mission to partner with associations for mutual success. He reflects: "When I started Stringfellow Management Group, I felt 100% confident it would succeed. I had secured an incredible team of experienced and passionate employees; partnered with several client associations with a proven track record of service and dedication to their industries; and developed an expansive network of service/product providers, industry professionals and peer mentors. Still, I’m amazed at what we have all built together in just three years. I am so proud of my team and our accomplishments, and thankful to all who have partnered with us along the way. We owe our achievements to each of you, and look forward to our continued partnerships and future mutual success."

AMC Institute congratulates Stringfellow Management on their third anniversary.  If your company has great news to share with the AMC community, please feel free to send your information to info@amcinstitute.org.
