We’re looking for new topics, new ideas, and new energy brought in by a diverse group of presenters! If you are interested in sharing your skills, please refer to the Call for Presentations to submit your proposal. Even if presenting is not in your wheelhouse, we welcome your suggestions for topic recommendations.

The deadline for submitting proposals and topic suggestions is Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

Callaway County Extended Employment (CCEE) in Fulton, MO, employs adults with disabilities year-round in various jobs, including operating industrial washers. Recently, the Missouri Department of Labor visited CCEE and were so impressed with the workplace they recommended CCEE apply for the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP). No sheltered workshop in Missouri has ever received SHARP recognition, and, if awarded, one benefit is the Department of Labor would be sent in the event of an accident instead of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Renew and Reconnect was the theme of TCATA's 2023 Annual Management and Educational Conference held at The Phoenician in Scottsdale, AZ. Gurtler Industries is sad to announce that Alan David Gordon passed away April 20, 2023, in Jacksonville FL. Alan was a long-time veteran of the laundry chemical industry and joined Gurtler Industries in 1999 as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Accounts. He helped develop Gurtler into an industry leader as a manufacturer of commercial laundry products both in the United States and Canada. Alan retired from Gurtler in 2022. Alan’s dedication and drive made him very successful as well as the associates that he led and worked with throughout his career. He will be greatly missed by the entire Gurtler Industries family.
