Webinar Sponsorship Opportunities

Interested in sponsoring ALM webinars this year? Hurry, there's only 3 spots left!

For the 2021 webinar series, we are limiting it to just 6 sponsors. For only $500 per sponsorship, logos of all six will be displayed on the ALM Webinar page, and each will be the primary sponsor for one webinar during the year. By setting primary sponsorship for each, we grant sole sponsorship billing on that webinar's promos, an opportunity to provide a 30-second video promo to be streamed at the start of the webinar, and a promotional email to be sent after the webinar to our full mailing list of over 3,000 individuals!

Tentative dates and topics of webinars are listed on the ALM Webinar page (dates and topics may change due to speaker availability and industry events). To purchase a sponsorship, visit the ALM online store. Please note, sponsorship claims are first-come, first-served, and there is a slight delay between purchase and the online store being updated. If you have any questions, please contact Nicole Morris.

Join the MALM chapter for our virtual spring meeting, featuring a 50-minute presentation on the topic, "Managing Laundry Labor Loss with Automation."

This is not a presentation on specific equipment, but an overview of the process and information essential to determining the best outcome for a laundry operation. The presentation will address the situation many laundries find themselves in today: labor shortages. Recognizing that the impact of COVID has cut even further into the availability of (previous) employees and increased the difficulty in obtaining new labor resources, laundries should explore the options available to them through investing in improvements in automation. This option is further complicated by forced-reduction in large capital expenditures. So the question becomes, can there be savings garnered through the addition of some lower-cost automation equipment? Where do laundries start to determine the best decision for their operation?

Triangle Residential Options for Substance Abusers – TROSA Inc. is the largest multi-year residential substance abuse treatment facility in North Carolina. TROSA helps more than 500 residents from all over the United States end their substance abuse and build new lives. The program provides housing, medical care, dental care, counseling services, continuing education, vocational training, trade certifications, job skills and many more opportunities for individuals who all share a determination to recover from addiction and become productive members of the community. TROSA places emphasis on vocational training and job skills help individuals build a strong work ethic that they take with them when they graduate the program.

TROSA had their first COVID case in December, and since then has drastically changed some operations at their campuses. They now use some of the dorm-style buildings for quarantining residents who test positive for COVID and their primary contacts. In the event of COVID-positive residents, a team of dedicated staff go in and sanitize the entire residential building, strip bedding and relocate the residents into the quarantine quarters. Due to the congregate living situation, maintaining the sanitation of properties has been a key component to controlling the spread of COVID in the community. The extra financial burden to supply the TROSA community with needed bed linens, disinfectant, masks and cleaning supplies has been a challenge.

TROSA is currently in need of tax-deductible product donations of bed linens for over 500 residents who are continuing to rebuild their lives during these new and challenging times. Twin/twin XL comforters, blankets, flat and fitted sheets, as well as pillowcases, washcloths and towels are needed. Any and all you can give would be greatly appreciated. They are happy to accept "reject-linen" that may have minor defects, stains or tears.

TROSA is a 501(c)3 organization and will provide you with a receipt for tax purposes. Anything you can do will go a long way to help!

To make a donation of any kind, please contact Tiffany Love, TROSA In-Kind Partner Associate, at 919-419-1059, extension 1247, or email inkind10@trosainc.org.
