An explosion at a company next door to Faultless Linen in St. Louis, Missouri sent a 12-foot long section of a hot water storage tank through the roof of the linen company killing three employees and one person at the Loy-Lange Box Company where the explosion originated. Read the details here…

Start the CLEAN Show off right by joining ALM members to recap highlights of 2017’s accomplishments, hear plans for next year, and cast your vote for the ALM Board of Directors. The meeting convenes Sunday at 3:00 pm local time in the Capri Room at Caesar’s Palace where light snacks and beverages are provided.

  

Jacob Frushtick was recently appointed Vice President of Product Development, Engineering at Leonard Fabrication Design (LFD).  Jacob started with the Company in January of 2011 and most recently served as the Vice Present of LFD, where he has worked extensively in the fabrication and design of manufactured items for a multitude of companies.  Jacob has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has extensive experience in machinery construction, control systems, sheet metal fabrication, AutoCAD electrical schematic drafting, and production management. Jacob’s main focus is on improving products and manufacturing processes to ensure that Leonard remains a leader in providing state of the art technology. 

This change in Leonard Automatics positions the Company to take on the responsibilities associated with the forecasted growth anticipated in the years to come.

 

  

Leonard Automatics recently named Jason Miller as their Western Regional Sales Manager. Jason brings experience working with a leading uniform provider in the industrial laundry industry to Leonard.  As a Project Engineering Manager, Jason was responsible for multiple locations and specialized in the layout of new equipment, machine efficiency as well as the overall trouble shooting of equipment.  Jason’s experience also includes the management of maintenance and production teams, so he understands how a plant should be run efficiently.  Jason received a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
