Your experience matters, and your voice can make a real impact. ALM is looking for members who want to take an active role in guiding the association and supporting the industry we all serve. Whether you’ve been in this field for decades or you’re building your leadership path, we welcome your involvement.
Volunteering goes far beyond committee meetings. Members can contribute in several ways: speaking at events, writing articles, reviewing educational content, sharing best practices, or serving as a subject matter expert. Each opportunity helps strengthen ALM’s resources while giving you a larger platform to share your knowledge and grow professionally.
Committee service remains one of the easiest entry points. Most committees meet virtually for about 1–2 hours each month, offering a manageable way to stay engaged while gaining a broader view of the industry.
Here’s how you can get involved:
- Join a committee and help influence ALM’s direction.
- Speak during a webinar or conference and share insights from your work.
- Write for ALM publications or contribute ideas for future topics.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to support training, certification, and educational development.
- Connect with peers who share your commitment to improving laundry and linen operations.
- No prior service is required—your experience and willingness to contribute are what matter most.
If you’re interested in stepping into a larger role with ALM, we’d love to hear from you. Volunteering is a chance to grow, give back, and help strengthen our industry. Let us know you’re interested, and we’ll help you find the right place to plug in.
