Beginning Jan. 3, 2017 the Spirit of Construction Outreach Committee is accepting only electronically filed applications for their 2017 grant funding. The maximum amount of grants allocated each year will not exceed an amount approved by the Spirit of Construction Board of Directors. The average 2015-2016 amount funded per organization was $7,281.

Kenton County Fiscal Court been tasked to decide between three alternatives for the Bavarian Brewery site by Feb. 22. A comprehensive price tag for work on the Ross County Jail may come together by April. The Ross County commissioners spent Monday with design contractors for the project, which has been under discussion since November 2015.
