UPDATE! The payroll true-up period for private employers begins July 1, 2017. Payroll true-up reports are due to BWC no later than Aug. 15, 2017. At the end of each private employer policy period (July), it is necessary to reconcile estimated payroll with actual payroll. This is called the true-up. This report can be completed online at: http://ow.ly/4mWUlm or over the phone by calling 1-800-644-6292.
A company that has operated in Wilder since the 1990s will invest $4.71 million and create 100 full-time jobs this year when it expands its regional office to its new consolidated headquarters. (Cincinnati Enquirer)
Campbell and Kenton counties have approved a 1 percentage point in the region’s transient room tax. Monies from the increase would help develop a capital fund that would be used primarily for expansion of Northern Kentucky Convention Center, located in downtown Covington.

Several Cincinnati landmarks and a cluster of vacant buildings in and around Over-the-Rhine have been approved for more than $10 million in historic preservation tax credits to help finance renovations and new construction, the Ohio Development Services Agency (ODSA) announced Wednesday. The Edgewood-based Ashley Commercial Group plans to build a mixed-use residential community of an undetermined design. The nuns plan to use the money for their retirement fund. (Cincinnati Enquirer)
