Want to help a Greater Cincinnati girl experience the world of construction through hands-on projects? Rosie’s Girls is seeking donors for a three-week camp focused on building skills and knowledge of the construction industry.
Stites is excited to partner with ACI for the upcoming program on the new AIA Documents. Topics will include: Overview of AIA Revision Process, Owner-Contractor Agreement (A101) changes, Sustainable Projects Exhibit (E204), General Conditions (A201) changes, Insurance Exhibit, Owner-Architect Agreement (B101) Changes.

Safety
The current OSHA standard regulating crane operator certification 29 CFR 1926.1427 includes an enforcement deadline of November 10, 2017. It is the construction employer's duty to ensure that operators are trained and competent to operate their cranes safely. ACI is an NCCER Accredited Training and Assessment Center, certified to provide crane operator prep courses, assessments and practical exams. Enrolling your crane operator employees in one of our monthly classes will ensure they are skilled and in compliance before the enforcement date.

Cabot Corporation announced that it has committed to build a new world-class fumed silica plant in Carrollton, Kentucky. The plant will be adjacent to the existing Dow Corning silicone monomer plant in Carrollton and is an extension of Cabot’s long-term relationship with Dow Corning. (Cabotcorp.com)
