In the most ambitious construction project in the region since Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center aims to turn the dirt this fall on its long-planned expansion into Avondale. The project will take five years, cost at least $550 million, which the hospital will shoulder alone, and feature a 10-floor patient tower devoted to the most critically sick children on top of a new emergency department. (Cincinnati Enquirer)
