ACI member TriVersity Construction is putting the finishing touches on its $11 million renovation of the 108-year-old Hamilton County Memorial Hall, in preparation of the December 2 ribbon cutting. (Cincinnati Enquirer)
Wasson Way supporters can savor the moment: the trail, whose future was not always certain, is going to be built. But for now, they’ll have to settle for a shorter route. Described in recent years as a 7.6-mile hike and bike trail built from an old rail line, Wasson Way is now a 4.1-mile plan, according to Cincinnati city officials, who have taken the lead in construction while partnering with the nonprofit Wasson Way organization. Loveland City Council approved the concept plan and development guidelines for a residential development that will be in a special planning district near New Hope Baptist Church, 1401 Loveland-Madeira Road. Deer Ridge II will be 132 multiple family units in five buildings on four parcels. Three of the parcels will be beside New Hop and the fourth is across the street beside the existing Deer Ridge Apartments. The development is estimated to cost $13.5 million. (Cincinnati Enquirer)

The Cincinnati Art Museum wants a new road in Eden Park, one that would allow the institution’s grand facade to unfurl before visitors. The about-face officially began Thursday, with approval from the Cincinnati Board of Park Commissioners for an easement of Eden Park property, which will allow museum officials to begin fundraising for the new entrance and driveway, estimated to cost about $8 million. (Cincinnati Enquirer)
Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments (OKI) Board President and Dearborn County Commissioner Kevin Lynch announced the award of more than $77 million to be distributed to 42 transportation projects in the region. Click below to view the full project list. (OKI)
