OSHA has issued two silica standards: one for construction and one for general industry and maritime. Both standards take effect June 23, 2016, after which industries have one to five years to come into compliance.

Plan Room
The city of Dayton has transferred two industrial properties that are key pieces of a more than $40 million plan to extend the Oregon Historic District.

City Properties Group, a Kentucky developer, plans to convert one property along Wayne Avenue into housing, commercial and restaurant space and other uses.

Real estate developers are moving forward with plans to add more than 60 luxury condominiums in Downtown Cincinnati after a Monday vote from the city's historic preservation panel.
 
The city Historic Conservation Board approved a certificate of appropriateness to demolish 719-721 Main St., which developers deemed a critical step to launching a more than $50 million project to yield two new 14-story buildings along the streetcar line. Hyde Park-based Greiwe Development Group is working with Terrex Development & Construction, North American Properties and Sibcy Cline on the project. (Cincinnati Enquirer
