Construction remains a field dominated by men. According to the U.S. Department of Labor Statistics, only nine percent of construction workers are women. Channell Rogers and Sierra Buster are two young ladies who are breaking that stereotype. Take the NCCER Fundamentals of Crew Leadership course starting February 23 in the ACI Office. This course runs to March 22, 2016.
Take the Construction Estimating course that runs February 23 to February 24 in the ACI office.
Take the AGC Project Delivery Systems for Construction course from February 25 to February 26 in the ACI office.

An overwhelming majority of construction firms report trouble finding qualified craft workers to fill key spots as demand for construction continues to rebound in many parts of the country, according to the results of an industry-wide survey of 1,358 construction firms released today by the Associated General Contractors of America. A $130 million renovation project at Dayton International Airport in southwestern Ohio will begin this year. The Dayton Daily News reports financing has been secured for the first phases of the project that will create a glass-walled passenger entrance to the airport terminal, add a new floor and rebuild parking lots. Jennifer Walsh will be missed and we wish her the best with her career plans. Jennifer’s last day of employment was Friday January 29th. Susan Greer has accepted the position of Office Administrator and her first day of employment was Monday February 1st 2016.
