Respirable Silica Standard Enforcement Begins

ACI members have been preparing for OSHA’s September 23 enforcement date of the new Silica Standard for Construction (1926.1153) by coming to ACI for valuable training and meetings. Members are invited to take advantage of ACI’s partnership with Construction Employers’ Association and Associated General Contractors of Northwest Ohio by enrolling in the Silica Sampling and Objective Data Sharing Program. Participants may rent and purchase monitoring equipment and processing at discounts, and review comparative test data by signing up for the annual program.
