State & National News
 This year the Georgia General Assembly tackled issues of Green Building Certifications, historic tax credits, transportation funding, Public-Private partnerships for vertical developments, school construction funding and more. In addition to the Georgia General Assembly, we also are tracking issues the City of Atlanta, the state licensing board and a variety of building code changes. AIA Georgia and our partners at the state AIA chapters continue to work to protect, improve and bolster the practice of architecture in Georgia.
Learn More... Recently there have been some questions as to whether the State Board accepts AIA transcripts. The Professional Licensing Board still accepts official AIA transcripts; however, if a licensee is sending the transcripts to satisfy a continuing education audit, he or she must also submit the audit reporting form. AIA Georgia and AIA Atlanta are posting the form to our websites.
