AIA Georgia celebrated its members' commitment to architecture and the community at its 2012 Annual Design and Honor Awards Gala. Many were honored and celebrated including Greenline Architecture as Firm of the Year, William J. Carpenter FAIA as the Rothschild Medal Recipient and Discover Architecture with a Bronze Medal of Distinction.

The AIA Georgia 2012 Design Awards were announced at SCAD Saturday, December 1, in Atlanta, Georgia. Twelve entries were recognized from the more than 90 entries received earlier this year. The award submissions were juried in Chicago. Neil Dawson AIA was the AIA Georgia Design Awards Program Chair.
