Integrated design, practice management, energy efficiency, and the value of the architect are just some of the topics we will explore. In 2010, the General Assembly authorized a regional sales tax for transportation. The tax depends on counties and cities coming together within regional commission boundaries, agreeing on planning criteria and a project list, and submitting the list to voters for approval. Depending on the final project list, there could be more opportunities for transit oriented development. For AIA members, this could mean a pipeline of projects for years to come.

GSA is soliciting up to 12 architect-engineer IDIQ contracts for five geographic regions as listed in the links below. Three contracts each will be awarded for Georgia and Florida and two contracts each for the three other geographic regions. This solicitation is limited to small businesses defined as having no more than $4.5 million gross annual billings (average of previous three years). Prime design firm is required to be located within geographic area. opportunities. GSA is interested in maximizing competition for these contracts.
