The Association of Healthcare Value Analysis Professionals, Inc. (AHVAP) is pleased to announce the launch of our 2026 Board of Directors Nominations Process. The AHVAP Board of Directors is a tremendous responsibility and an exciting role that requires expertise in leadership, finance, strategic thinking, and collaboration. AHVAP has an ambitious strategic plan that will take the Association to new heights over the coming years. As such, we are seeking talented leaders who want to help take the specialty of healthcare value analysis to the next level.
We are seeking enthusiastic and qualified candidates to fill the following positions, which will be open in 2026:
- President-Elect
- Treasurer
- Director-At-Large
- Industry Partner
Applicants must be willing to meet the following qualifications:
- Attend a minimum of 11 virtual board meetings (President-Elect and Treasurer) or 6 virtual board meetings (Director-At-Large and Industry Partner)
- Attend the annual conference
- Currently hold a valid CVAHPTM credential
- Participate in the annual strategic planning meeting virtually
- Complete all assigned board assignments
- Complete all board orientation assignments
To submit your application to serve on the AHVAP Board of Directors:
New Board Members will receive extensive training on their specific roles and be subject to AHVAP's Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality policies.
2026 Board of Directors Nominations and Elections Schedule Is as Follows:
- July 24, 2025: Call for Nominations Announced and Portal Opened
- August 8, 2025 Midnight ET: Portal for Call for Nominations Closes. Late applications will not be reviewed or accepted.
- August 11-August 15, 2025: Nomination's Committee Interviews all Candidates meeting minimum eligibility criteria
- August 18-August 29, 2025: Election Open and Ballots Cast
- September 2-3, 2025: All Candidates Contacted
- October 8, 2025: Election Results Announced to Membership
- December 2025: New Officer Orientation and Training
The deadline to submit your Nomination's packet is August 8, 2025, at midnight ET. Only completed application packets will be reviewed. The Nominating Committee will review each application package and contact applicants regarding next steps in the formal interview process.
