AHVAP Certification Center Launches Latest Micro-Credential Program: Learn How to "Master IFUs"

We are delighted to share some exciting news: The AHVAP Certification Center has launched an industry first accredited micro-credential program specifically designed to foster best practices related to Instructions for Use for Medical Products and Devices. We are thrilled to announce the launch of registration for our new Medical Products Instructions for Use Specialist Micro-Credential Program (MPIUSM™), is now available through the AHVAP Certification Center. This focused credential is designed to equip healthcare value analysis professionals, clinicians, and infection preventionists with essential skills to interpret and implement product IFUs accurately and consistently.

Upon successful completion of the entire program, attendees will receive 6.0 hours of Continuing Education toward CVAHP™ recertification or nursing licenses/certifications. Credit will also be issued for Infection Preventionists, Patient Safety Professionals, and Healthcare Quality Professionals. This program may be used toward recertification of the AHVAP Certification Center Medical Device Safety Specialist micro-credential designation. Upon completion of the micro-credential exam, you will be issued a digital badge highlighting your new micro-credential through your digital badging partner-Credly.

The training series will take place over two two-hour blocks of instruction for virtual class offerings. We will provide all the necessary materials and resources for you to participate fully in the training. Course participants will receive access to a pre-course module as well as part of the micro-credential program.
