The Association of Healthcare Value Analysis Professionals (AHVAP) is pleased to announce our March Special joint collaboration webinar program with the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN) on Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS). As part of our ongoing strategic collaboration with the AORN, we are excited to bring this special program to our AHVAP members about the newly released AORN ERAS Guideline.

Enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) is an interdisciplinary approach to surgical care that aims to optimize patient outcomes and accelerate recovery following surgery. It involves the implementation of evidence-based protocols and guidelines to enhance the patient’s physiological and psychological condition before, during, and after surgery. ERAS protocols aim to minimize the physiological stress response to surgery. This webinar will review the components of ERAS that should be implemented in every patient undergoing surgery and provide strategies for implementing ERAS programs in healthcare facilities.
