Message from AHVAP President-Elect

And just like that, we are one month away from AHVAP’s 2024 Annual Conference and Industry Partner Expo. The Conference Committee and AHVAP HQ have been hard at work to ensure that our membership has a conference that lives up to this year’s theme: Value Vanguards: Pioneering Innovation and Excellence in Healthcare. As value vanguards, Value Analysis professionals are trailblazers in embracing innovation, data-driven decision-making, and collaborative efforts with stakeholders. This conference aims to provide members networking opportunities, inspiration and motivation, professional development, and thought leadership.

With over 30 potential hours of continuing education, the 2024 conference will be packed with opportunity. Pre-conference offerings will be held on September 9th and include:

• Value Analysis Foundations and Principles/Advanced Strategies and Implementation
• CVAHP™ Board Certification Review Course

The main conference will begin on September 10th and conclude at noon on September 12th. Each day will feature a keynote address designed to ground our understanding, inspire our efforts, and equip us with essential leadership tools. Each session and expert panel was carefully chosen while being mindful of the needs of the organization from novice through thought leader. The Exhibition Hall will be a place for us to build connections, gain hands-on product experience, collaborate, and explore cutting edge solutions and patient care technologies. I and the rest of AHVAP’s board of directors highly encourage each attendee to visit as many of our Industry Partners as possible. Their support is essential for making this conference a reality. Finally, we will have the largest number of poster presentations AHVAP has ever hosted. This is an opportunity to explore real-world examples of the work our members are accomplishing in the field of Value Analysis. These presentations will allow the presenter to showcase their experience, hone their presentation skills, and encourage others while allowing the membership to gain new solutions, connections, and knowledge that they can use at their own facility.
