Treasurer’s Message

I have always regarded January as a time to renew, restart and refocus. This January is no different except to say in my AHVAP world as Treasurer, this is the most excited I have been. A little over a year ago, Liz told the Board of Directors to think big, and we did. Our new management company is partnering with us and helping us innovate and bring ideas to life. I am excited to start discussing some of the great programs we have planned for our members. These new offerings will bring significant professional value to you, our members, and allow us to transform and transcend the expectations of your chosen professional organization. The first such program is the recently launched AHVAP VIP Concierge Service. This new subscription-based service is for those who hold CVAHP™ certification. Specifically, it tracks continuing education credits and allows participants to work with a dedicated AHVAP Team concierge to have their continuing education credits uploaded into the SMT/Prometric Certification Portal. As a part of this service, the AHVAP Customer Care Team will even upload continuing education credits earned outside of AHVAP-sponsored education programs. This ultimately provides an easy way for our certified members to track their education and renew their certification. The cost for members is $99 per year, and thus far, we have 10 members who have taken advantage of this offering.
