Message from the President
Dear ASHHRA Colleagues, October is the gateway to autumn. The weather gets cooler (in most places), leaves start falling, football kicks into high gear and when Halloween arrives, we start thinking about the up and coming holiday season. I was optimistic that October would be the start of a positive run with lower COVID numbers, less destructive weather and fewer wildfires out west. Alas, it was not meant to be.

The COVID-19 crisis has put tremendous strain on hospitals, and the professionals behind the scenes that ensure our health care workforce is qualified, engaged, protected, and prepared to provide the best care. During times of high stress like these, we often want to know what others in similar HR roles did, so we can compare strategies, share lessons learned, and plan for the future. The COVID Response Tactics Survey (CRTS) takes less than 10 minutes to complete, and members can expect a report based on the findings within a few weeks of the survey close. The survey will remain open until Oct. 23, 2020. Click here to participate now.
