Dear ASHHRA Colleagues,

Season's greetings, ASHHRA family! I am appreciative for what has been offered to me as the year comes to an end. Each year, when the year ends, I like to take stock of my professional and board experiences to assess what has been accomplished.

Together, we were able to weather the storm and successfully organize events for our members. I want to thank the board for their devotion to the industry and their dedication to ASHHRA. It's a difficult role, and HR experts have faced many challenges recently, but we are tenacious and determined to find solutions to every problem that arises. I also want to express my gratitude to the ASHHRA staff for their commitment and effort. It has been a pleasure working with them, and I value the effort they put into everything that is given to them.

As my term comes to an end, I am looking forward to what my successor, Becky Rauen, will bring to the table as President of ASHHRA in 2023. Becky is an exceptional HR leader who is prepared to guide us through what promises to be an exciting year.

I’m also excited to invite you to ASHHRA23 in Charlotte, N.C., April 23 – 25, and registration is now open. Be sure to take advantage of the Early Bird rates and consider taking your whole team with you. Group registration is a special offer where you get one free Full Conference registration for every three you purchase as an organization. And be sure to visit the hotel page so you can budget for accordingly for accommodations.

I want to thank each and every one of you for your dedication and involvement this year, and I am looking forward to seeing you at our next events and activities in 2023. Happy New Year and happy holidays.
