Dear ASHHRA Colleagues,

October has arrived, and the fall weather has begun. Even in sunny South Florida, a temperature change is beginning to appear, and we are enjoying a few days of mild weather. We also realize that it won't last long. During our most recent ASHHRA Executive Committee meeting, the group expressed their desire for an in-person conference to take place soon. The ASHHRA team is very excited to share our plans for 2022 as soon as we can.

During the meeting, we also discussed how the COVID-19 delta variant has been difficult for health care workers and HR professionals. As we all cross our fingers in the hopes that the numbers will continue to fall, we must remain resilient in our role as resources for our companies. Every day, we are tasked with attracting and retaining the best talent in the most difficult of times. As with any challenge, there will be an end goal to aim for. As ASHHRA members, we can lean on each other for support and ideas. ASHHRA Exchange is an excellent platform for this and it’s been great to see such engagement there. I encourage you to continue posting new questions, answering others’ questions and sharing resources with each other.
