Dear ASHHRA Colleagues,

Happy New Year and welcome to 2021. I am excited to take on my role as ASHHRA President as we kick-off the year of hope and change. 2020 was a year of adjustments and transformation, but through this time we have been able to stand strong, build alliances and support each other through this pandemic. The road to recovery is promising but I am confident we will get through this together. As we prepare for this year, I want to reassure our members that ASHHRA is here for you and your needs.

As HR professionals, we often plan ahead to see how we can grow professionally and make changes for our organizations. This year, I encourage you to strengthen your network and participate in ASHHRA Exchange Live (first Wednesday of each month), share insights on the ASHHRA Exchange online community, and take advantage of all the great events and resources that we have to offer. ASHHRA has been a lifesaver for me during my years as a member. The countless relationships and professional growth has encouraged me to step into this new role. Take advantage of these opportunities to connect with each other. Let’s continue to move forward and grow our membership. Take care and continue to be safe.
