Happy Health Care HR Week!

I hope your week is off to a great start, celebrating health care HR professionals at your organizations! While we know it’s important to regularly step back and reflect on the significant work of health care HR teams, this week is one of the BEST times to do so!

Last week, I had the opportunity to join the Regional, Chapter and Members Services committee meeting. I am energized by the valuable work and dedication of this team, which partners closely with regional and chapter leaders to serve the needs of ASHHRA members. Their leadership, ideas and strong connections to our state chapters are invaluable. I encourage you to connect with your Regional Consultant; they are each valued partners and contacts to have in your professional network!

During Health Care HR week, it’s important to focus on and highlight the work of our teams through recognition and other efforts. You will soon learn more information about application and nomination opportunities for ASHHRA awards, including the HR Visionary Award and National Mentorship Award. I encourage your consideration and participation in the ASHHRA awards program, identifying the significant achievements of our members. (It’s also a great way to recognize colleagues at the ASHHRA annual conference in Chicago this fall!)
