Dear ASHHRA Colleagues,
Welcome to February! Your ASHHRA Board has already been hard at work for you. Our first board meeting was held this past January in Pittsburgh where our 2018 conference will be held. I hope you’re planning on attending this year’s conference, as Pittsburgh is a great place to have a conference! Sid you know there are over 446 bridges in Pittsburgh?
Soon you will see the great speakers your board has selected for this year’s conference and how they tie into the theme of Meeting the Challenge and Making a Difference. You’re going to love our speakers this year! Human resources is hard work and every day, HR professionals such as yourself step up to meet the challenge and make a difference for the patients and employees we serve.
I promise you the 2018 ASHHRA Board carries a passion for making ASHHRA as great as it can be as our previous boards have done. The board is focused on areas like:
•Growing our CHHR value and participation
•Providing the best value to our members that we can
•Partnering with AHA and others to help strengthen the voice of our members.
Our membership is what gives ASHHRA its strength, and I encourage you to utilize your membership to its fullest potential. If you’re interested in volunteering, ask the ASHHRA staff for information.
