Dr. Alisahah Jackson is a strong advocate for health equity, believing everyone should be able to achieve great health, no matter what they look like, how much money they make, or where they come from. Dr. Jackson's work runs the gamut from developing health equity plans for underserved communities to building solutions to address substance abuse, and support behavioral health and maternity care. In this engaging session, she will share the ways that social drivers impact health equity, identify various strategies to address health disparities, and focus on how community engagement can serve as an accelerator for health justice. This session is sure to make some uncomfortable, but ultimately will inspire and motivate you to, as Arthur Ashe said, “Start where you are, use what you have, and do what you can.”

This year we'll be closing ASHHRA23 out in style at the NASCAR Hall of Fame! The 2023 Victory Lap evening will offer musical entertainment, food and beverage, and time to mingle with fellow attendees and our wonderful sponsors.
NASCAR driver Ross Chastain, driver of the No. 1 AdventHealth Chevrolet for Trackhouse Racing, will be signing autographs for ASHHRA attendees from 8 – 9 p.m.

 The ASHHRA23 Exhibit Hall is a great resource throughout the conference! Tuesday hours will be 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and lunch will take place in the Exhibit Hall.
