Commissioner Keith E. Sonderling will discuss the EEOC’s mission to prevent and remedy unlawful employment discrimination and advance equal opportunity for all in the workplace. Learn how the EEOC does so by enforcing federal laws prohibiting discrimination against employees and job applicants based on the person’s race, age, sex, national origin, color, religion, disability or genetic information. The laws apply to all types of work situations, including hiring, firing, promotions, harassment, training, wages and benefits. The EEOC investigates and litigates discrimination charges against employers and governments. The EEOC also prevents discrimination through providing education, outreach and technical assistance programs.

The Joint Commission

The Thought Leader Forum will assist Joint Commission accredited organizations in compliance tactics for new Joint Commission Requirements related to Workplace Violence and the new CMS COVID Vaccine Mandate. Attendees will learn from current scoring patterns of the new requirements and obtains tactics to improve compliance with the requirements.

If you haven't started using the ASHHRA22 Conference App yet, you're missing out! 
 
In addition to all the updated must-know info about exhibitors, attendees and schedules — including creating your own customized schedule of the sessions that interest you most — the app features a live activity feed where you can interact with fellow attendees and comment and share photos right from your phone. For those who like some healthy competition (you know who you are!), be sure to check the app's Leaderboard and earn points each time you use it! Be sure to use the official conference hashtag, #ASHHRA22. 
 
Don't forget to review the sessions you attend! Session evaluations are available exclusively through the app. Once the session is complete, look for the "ASHHRA22 Session Evaluation" link in the session listing to complete the session evaluation.

 

Time flies when you're having fun, and ASHHRA22 is no exception! Tomorrow will be the final day of the conference, with a full morning of sessions followed by the Closing Ceremony and Keynote.
